ABSTRACT
The Research and Development project called “S.M.a.R.T
- Smart Museums and Resilient Technologies,” lasting 30 months, is being developed by Infobiotech (as a partner) with the collaboration of Advanced Technology Solutions Srl, Space SpA, the University of Palermo (DEIM) and the National Research Council (IRIB).
OBJECTIVES
The goal of the project is the creation of a system capable of monitoring the air quality of environments used for the conservation and exhibition of works of art.
Specifically, an integrated system will be designed and developed that can independently monitor the specific characteristics of each exhibition environment and provide real-time information for the control of general air quality conditions and for their monitoring by museum management structures in order to rationalize the usability of museum assets.
