2014
Infobiotech was founded in 2014 and started operations by developing specialized software for the molecular biology indust.
In the first 2 years, it consolidated and strengthened its areas of activity by creating a research and development team with expertise in electronics and physics, developing a line of instruments for molecular diagnostics (ICGENE) for which it still carries out the production, post-production support, and delivery of digital services on behalf of Enbiotech Srl (owner of the ICGENE brand).
2017
Since 2017, it has initiated several facilitated research and development projects under European structural funds with major private and public partners.
2020
During the pandemic of the years 2020 and 2021, it reengineered the entire line of ICGENE instruments, which has since reached its third generation, to be able to perform SARS-COV-2 virus detection, the only Italian company to make its molecular diagnostics technology available to the commissarial management of the health emergency.
2024
In more recent years, still on behalf of Enbiotech, it has developed the technology of a new line of molecular diagnostic instruments called Hyperion, for which it will also handle contract manufacturing.
TODAY
The company today offers high-tech third-party services to the market, characterized by a strong interdisciplinary approach and the flexibility typical of a small company, which can count on a highly specialized work team with now decades of experience and the necessary skills to manage the entire development cycle, from design to production.
