ABSTRACT
The Research and Development project called “ENOBIT - Blockchain and IoT for genetic certification and traceability of the wine supply chain,” lasting 36 months and ending in December 2023, was coordinated by Infobiotech (as lead partner) with the collaboration of Corvallis Srl (now Tinexta Cyber Srl) and the Department of Bio Agri-Food Sciences of the National Research Council.
OBJECTIVES
In the course of the ENOBIT project, the demonstrator of an infrastructure for traceability and retraceability of agri-food products was designed, developed and tested through the pilot application in the wine supply chain of state-of-the-art information and communication technologies (such as blockchain and IoT) capable of tracing the entire supply chain from the mother plant used for the production of the rootstock to the bottle of wine on the shelf.
