ABSTRACT
The 36-month R&D project called “AGREED - Agriculture, Green & Digital” was developed by Infobiotech (as a partner) with the collaboration of Corvallis Srl (now Tinexta Cyber Srl) and several Italian university research centers.
OBJECTIVES
The project proposed itself as an “innovator” of functional processes for the prevention and/or eco-friendly control of the major phytosanitary problems affecting the main fruit and vegetable productions in southern Italy (grapevine, olive, citrus and tomato).
From a technological point of view, a multisource IoT platform has been implemented, capable of conveying continuous flows of data (Big data) to an analytical section that detects and maps outbreaks of infection and acts through sustainable phytosanitary treatments.
